They say content is king, but drivel is the devil. I know you need to write loads for SEO and other purposes, but is there really a need to ramble on and on and on. Say what you need to say, then move on to the next thing. Affiliate Bitch likes to read what you write, sometimes it is even worth trawling through mindless drivel just to get to the exciting bit.
All good articles, press releases, blog posts etc should follow the same rules;
Intro - a brief overview
Hook - Whats exciting?
Explanation - An explanation of whats going on
Tension - Something more exciting
Conculsion - A round up
If that is too hard to follow try thinking about the following;
Who - is reading?
What - are you talking about?
When - did it happen?
Where - did it happen?
Why - did it happen?
How - can it be resolved?
These are just ideas, but to keep people interested you have to make them interested, keep them interested and then make them buy.
You all probably already know this, but sometimes you need reminding!
