Do Affiliates Demand The World?

Is it too much to ask of a merchant that their site converts? Or their feeds are up to date, and work properly? Is it even too much to ask for the odd incentive, or some banners? Affiliate Bitch has overheard both networks and merchants moan about the demands put on them by affiliates. The answer is simple – either you want the affiliate to drive traffic and sales to your site or you don't. If you do, then give them a hand bump up their commissions to get a little bit extra out of them. If you don't want the sales, then shut up moaning.

In the defense of the merchant Affiliate Bitch can understand that the constant moaning about feeds and commissions and banners can be at times, grating. To be suddenly bombarded by a large amount of affiliates moaning about the same thing doesn’t change the situation, it certainly doesnt help. There is a fine line between asking for help, being demanding and being down right rude. Things go wrong in this industry, technology fails. Lets all take a breath, count to ten and then stamp our feet and moan!
