You’re All Bitches Really!

Affiliate Bitch has come to realise that Affiliate Marketing is similar to school. You have your cliques of people who stick together, the odd outsider, the bullies and the geeks. You all slag each other off and rant about ethics, morals and personalities.

If a network cocks up you all jump down their throats, and bitch about them as if they did something monstrously horrible to you. Then when the issue is solved you return to licking butts.

Similar with other Affiliates, if someone steals a voucher code or pinches a website idea or god forbid they should bitch about you first, you all seem to go into bitching overdrive and have little mothers meetings about people. See them in public, and you soon change your minds and become nice as pie, as if nothing had ever happened!

Stop bitching to each other, if you have a problem with someone, tell them. What is the worst that could happen – you carry on bitching, or you never just know, you might resolve the issue.

If you'd want to become a bitch then just email affiliateb at gmail.com and we'll set you up with a login. Your anonymity will be retained!

Being someone who likes nothing more than a good moan, I am especially attracted to the concept of this blog.

I would like to have a bitch about something and I hope that this comment box is the appropriate place to do so.

What really gets my goat (who on earth came up with that phrase??) is the number of affiliate blogs which offer absolutely no value to the reader. There's bloody so many of them and I'm tired of seeing them.

In particular, I am referring to blogs by so called 'respected' affiliates. Instead of actually providing interesting, relevant and informative content to their readers, all they seem to post about is a load of tripe.

Here's some example post from 1 blog I found:

-Why they were sad that they had not received an Xbox console promised to them by an affiliate network for sending extra sales.

-Moaning to affiliate networks not to ring them, but to email them instead.

-Bragging about how much money they have made so far this year.

(Oh, if you happen to be the owner of the blog in question, dont take it personally.)

Ok ok, so anyone can blog about anything they want. Hey, its their blog and they can do what they want.

But judging by some of the posts Ive read, it seems that some of these affiliates are blogging for soley for their cliquey affiliate/network chums to read.

Ever noticed the blogroll on these blogs? All the names on the lists tend to be the same...

Compare these blogs to ones such as cashtactics.net or bluehatseo.com and you will see that they absolutely pale in comparison.

Go on, give us readers who don't know you and who are not your friends a reason to subscribe.
